The intensely buzzed television series Fleabag was originally conceived as a theater monologue, and was recently re-staged in New York and London after the immense popularity of the BBC3 program. Read the reference to novelist Jean Rhys’ heroines, compared to Fleabag’s protagonist, in the final paragraph of this New York Times review.
