María Eugenia Mann

María Eugenia Mann was born in Panama City, Panama in 1967. She studied Humanities in Boston and New York City, Philosophy at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Barcelona and obtained a doctorate degree at Université Lumière-Lyon 2, France, with a thesis in History and Scientific Research. She founded Verdecielo Ediciones in Spain in 2003, which was later relocated to her city of birth. Dr. Mann has published essays in contemporary art and film magazines, including the San Francisco Cinemathèque, California. La vindicación de las siervas. Las Hijas de la Caridad de San Vicente de Paul en la salud pública durante la construcción del Canal de Panamá (2020) is her first book published as an author.
